INDIANAPOLIS – eMaint Enterprises, a provider of on-demand computerized maintenance management solutions (CMMS), and POLARIS Laboratories, an oil testing and data analysis services company, has formed a strategic alliance that will integrate oil analysis results directly into an organization’s maintenance management system — eMaint X3 — to reduce reaction time to maintenance issues and improve overall reliability. Equipment lists and sampling schedules can be imported directly from HORIZON — POLARIS’ online reporting software — into eMaint X3, automatically integrating that information into the organization’s overall preventive maintenance schedule. Oil analysis results from HORIZON can then instantly generate a work order in eMaint containing maintenance recommendations directly related to the sample results. eMaint X3 users will click on a link to their HORIZON data, view the latest oil analysis results and, in a matter of a few keystrokes, create and issue a work order.
