Collective Data, Inc., a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, provider of fleet management software systems, announced today a year-over-year growth of 21% for 2012. The company attributes its continued success to the ability to offer unique solutions tailored to the needs of its clients.

"Expectations for fleet managers vary widely and there certainly isn’t a one-size fits all product," said Jason Wonase, president and CEO of Collective Data. "Some fleets recognize simple spreadsheets are the key to effective management, while others have come to terms that highly-expansive and adaptable software, like Collective Data’s, is needed to manage the changing complexities of a demanding fleet operation."

A major product update in 2012 to the core6 platform, the engine that drives the various Collective Data applications, was a mix of user-requested and productivity-improving features. Some of the new features included an easy-to-use, ad-hoc importing tool, improved access to reports with quick access to favorite configurations, and individual user changes throughout the software that allows each user to have a unique set of desktops, reports, and even unique form layouts and properties.

Wonase also commented that the team at Collective Data continues to set the company apart from competition through superior service and innovation.

"2012 was an exciting year for many reasons, but most notably because of the fantastic team that makes up Collective Data," said Wonase. "I’m proud to see the team, over and over again, being relentless for perfection with each of our clients, products, and with everything we do."
