CEDAR RAPIDS, IA - Collective Data Inc., a provider of fleet operations management software, recently changed office locations from North Liberty, Iowa to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Access to human and technology resources along with an interest in community economic redevelopment played a role in the decision to relocate.  The new office facilities reside in the historic Arco Building in the heart of the city's center.

The move will help facilitate continued growth, as well provide the opportunity for Collective Data to help bring business back to the downtown area after the devastating floods of 2008.   "We are very excited to be part of the post flood recovery in such a great city like Cedar Rapids," said Bill Wessels, Director of Operations for Collective Data.

Being in this new location will allow Collective Data to provide the next generation of their fleet operations management software. "Cedar Rapids is more central to the talent that exists in the surrounding areas," said Jason Wonase, President and Lead Software Engineer for Collective Data. "It will also allow us to have access to a lot of resources that will support Collective Data's growth."

Wonase also said that having the office in the downtown location will be much more convenient. "Overall, this location will be a huge benefit to employees and visitors coming to see us," he said. "We have a great view of the downtown area from our office, and are looking forward to being a part of the Cedar Rapids community."
