EAU CLAIRE, WI – The City of Eau Claire, Wis., is installing GPS tracking devices in its vehicle fleet. According to a news story from the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram, GeoComm is providing the GPS devices and Precise MRM is providing the vehicle communications and data logging system. Jeff Pippenger, city utilities administrator, said he expects the ROI for the system to be two years via fuel savings and improved routing.
