Bill Griffiths, the 2015 Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year, has joined Chevin Fleet Solutions as its VP of global consulting & client services. In this newly created position, he will work directly with Chevin clients to enhance their understanding of FleetWave’s capabilities, drive efficiencies, and realize cost savings. 

Griffiths has more than 26 years of fleet experience. He previously served as senior director of vehicle fleet strategy at the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority in Boston. Prior to that, he had fleet leadership roles at Montgomery County, Md., the Smithsonian Institution, the U.S. Forest Service, and the U.S. Air Force.

Griffiths is a former user of the FleetWave software. Speaking on his new role at Chevin, Griffiths said:

“Fleets are rapidly evolving and becoming more complex and organizations are being challenged to become more efficient, so today’s fleet professional needs to be data fluent with the ability to educate stakeholders on what’s critical. I believe that FleetWave is the tool that every fleet manager needs in their toolbox.”
