NORMAN, OK – Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and research institutions will speak at “Grow: The Oklahoma Governor's Conference on Biofuels,” which will be held Oct. 3-4, 2006, at the University of Oklahoma.
NORMAN, OK – Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Department of Energy, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and research institutions will speak at “Grow: The Oklahoma Governor’s Conference on Biofuels,” which will be held Oct. 3-4, 2006, at the University of Oklahoma. James Woolsey, former director of the CIA, will be the keynote speaker addressing the relationship between national security and the development of alternative-transportation fuels. Other speakers include policy leaders and representatives from international transportation and energy companies. Attendees will be updated on the growth in the U.S. biofuels industry, learn about current and emerging research and development initiatives, and be among the first to hear about Oklahoma’s emerging biorefining sector.
