LITTLE ROCK, AR – In Arkansas, a group of taxpayers the lawsuit over State officials’ personal use of State-owned vehicles was dismissed by a Pulaski County circuit judge Wendell Griffen, according to an article on ArkansasNews.com. The lawsuit sought an injunction to prohibit further personal use of State-owned vehicles without paying some form of compensation for their use and that officials reimburse the State for personal use.
The circuit judge said the complaint didn’t have a sufficient factual basis and that two of the defendants weren’t properly services. Griffen dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice, which means the taxpayers can file the suit again.
