SEARCHAMARILLO, TEXAS - The new units will replace existing units in select vehicles and be used in new cars.
AMARILLO, TEXAS – The City of Amarillo’s City commission has voted to purchase in-car video recording systems from L3 Mobile Vision Inc. for $50,502.
According to the Amarillo Globe News, the police department is equipping a total of 10 vehicles with the cameras.
The new units will replace existing units in select vehicles and be used in new cars. The current bid price reflects a 5.26% decrease from the previous purchase in 2009, according to City documents.
