2017-MY Police Vehicle Testing Dates Announced
The Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have announced the dates that they will conduct testing of 2017 model-year pursuit-rated police vehicles in September and October respectively.

The Michigan State Police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have announced the dates that they will conduct testing of 2017 model-year pursuit-rated police vehicles in September and October respectively.
The Michigan State Police will evaluate vehicles from Sept. 13-19 at the Grattan Raceway in Belding and FCA Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea. The agency will test police motorcycle braking on Sept. 13; motorcycle vehicle dynamics on Sept. 14; accelleration, top speed and braking for sedans and SUVs on Sept. 17; and vehicle dynamics on Sept. 19.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will conduct its testing on Oct. 13. This year marks the 42nd year the agency has conducted testing. Testing will occur at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.
