CNG Refuse Fleet to Save Chesapeake $740K Annually

CHESAPEAKE, VA – The City of Chesapeake will convert its fleet of 53 solid waste trucks to run on CNG in the next six years, reaping possible savings of $740,000 in annual fuel costs once the entire fleet is converted. The City will also build a CNG fueling station.

New York City Adds Electric Vehicles to Fleet
