The City of Midlothian, Texas’ city council recently approved the lease of new fire engines as part of the City’s 2012 – 2013 budget, according to news website

The vehicles in the City’s current fleet are currently too unreliable, and the city council agreed that they needed to take immediate action to replace existing vehicles. The council plans to save for the eventual purchase of three fire engines and isn’t interested in leasing the vehicles perpetually, the article stated.
