MISSOULA, MT - Through a $750,000 U.S. Department of Justice grant, the Missoula Police Department is purchasing new patrol car video equipment and car computers, according to the Missoulian.

The majority of the project goes to provide new video equipment to the department's 21 patrol cars, and will also be used for other technology upgrades. The grant is provided through the DOJ's Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).
