RED BLUFF, CA – Tehama County in California will purchase 21 new vehicles after a series of bids for various departments was approved, according to the Red Bluff Daily News. The Board of Supervisors approved the purchases that range from four-door sedans for the health services agency to four police cruisers for the Sheriff’s Department to a two-ton diesel truck with auto crane for the public works department. In total, the new vehicles will cost the county $541,291. Most of the vehicles are to upgrade an aging fleet that has vehicles with close to 200,000 miles on them.
