LOUISVILLE, KY – The Police Fleet Expo “Navigate Your Future” — designed and operated by the police fleet community to address the specific issues and needs of the police fleet industry — will be held Aug. 23-27, 2006, in Louisville. The Expo, sponsored by SoundOff Signal, Police Fleet Manager magazine, and Law and Order magazine, will have the latest information from auto manufacturers, aftermarket manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers, and will also have opportunities to see the latest products and services. Attendees can test drive next year’s models and learn how to cut costs and manage their fleets more efficiently. The Expo will also hold vehicle manufacturer sessions, which provide each manufacturer the opportunity to address service concerns identified by attendees and possible solutions. Each vehicle manufacturer also provides information related to service bulletins and safety recalls. There is also a “Vehicle Problem Report” to collect information by users to provide the manufacturers with specific problems in advance of the Expo. All users should complete all problem forms by June 30 to give manufacturers sufficient time to research the issues for the Expo. The “Problem Reports” will also be discussed at the “Agency Dialogue Sessions” at the Expo. Forms can be found at websurveyor.net/wsb.dll/5732/ProblemReports.htm/.
