The City of Houston is adding five new Frazer Bilt ambulances to its fleet in the next few weeks. The ambulances cost $900,000, according to a Fire Department announcement.

Houston Fire Department has added 28 EMS units since July 2018, and Mayor Sylvester Turner has approved funding for five additional EMS units.

According to Patch, the HFP has been dealing with numerous equipment failures since Hurricane Harvey.
