Ford is hosting a nationwide Police Interceptor Utility ride-and-drive tour. The tour begins in May and stops in 11 major cities.

Law enforcement agencies and government officials will have the opportunity to drive all three Police Interceptor powertrains — 3.3L Hybrid, 3L EcoBoost, and 3.3L V-6 — on a closed course.

The standard Police Interceptor Utility is the first-ever hybrid pursuit-rated SUV. According to Ford, hybrids are ideal for police work because it often includes long periods of idling.

The tour’s stops are:

  • Denver (May 9)
  • Seattle (May 14)
  • San Francisco (May 17)
  • Los Angeles (May 20)
  • Dallas (May 24)
  • Orlando (May 28)
  • Atlanta (May 31)
  • Chicago (June 3)
  • New York (June 10)
  • Washington, D.C. (June 13)
  • Boston (June 17)

Fleets, police agencies, and dealerships can register here.
