The Missouri Highway Patrol has named Catherine Brown as its new fleet and facilities director.

Brown previously worked for the Patrol from 1998-2007 as assistant director of its Construction Maintenance Division. She then joined the Office of Administration Facilities Management, Design and Construction as a program manager.

Brown was promoted to deputy director of that division in April 2009, and named director of OA’s Facilities Management, Design and Construction in July 2010, where she served until her appointment to the Patrol.

She replaces Larry Rains, who retired in November 2018 after 31 years at the Missouri Highway Patrol, according to The News Tribune.
