Denver International Airport has hired Jeff Bowman as its new director of fleet management. Bowman has more than 30 years in the fleet industry and his last position was facilities and fleet management director for Adams County, Colo.
He began his career as a technician for the City of Colorado Springs, Colo., moving into a management position. Later, he became fleet manager for the City of Westminster, Colo., where he facilitated a parts supply contract to allow employees to focus on core maintenance functions that significantly improved customer service.
Bowman replaces Jeff Booton, this year's Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year, who was promoted to senior director of maintenance in April.
