Dorchester County Sheriff's Office will join other Maryland jurisdictions in a fleet management and leasing program by entering into an open-end lease agreement with Enterprise, the Dorchester Banner reported.

Enterprise projected savings of $400,000 in 10 years by leasing 47 sheriff's vehicles. If the program works well, the county could extend it to all its cars and trucks.
