The City of Dublin (Ohio) Fleet was awarded the Leading Public Fleet Award for Green Sustainability at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Awards ceremony last week.

The ACT Expo Fleet Awards provide recognition to fleets and individuals who show leadership in transportation — having gone above and beyond what is required to achieve sustainability in their fleet operations. Those nominated are among an exclusive group of organizations and individuals whose emission reduction efforts are paving the way for wide spread adoption of these technologies and practices.

“This was a very nice surprise as there are a lot of really good fleets out there,” says Director of Fleet Management Darryl Syler. “This just goes to show that with the continued support of our leadership and staff here in Dublin, we can achieve great things.”

Last year the award went to the City of Los Angeles.

This year, Dublin Fleet Technicians Aaron Alliff and Mike Bliss were at the ACT Expo and accepted the award for the city.
