The Volkswagen and Audi 2017 model-year fleet preview was held Sept. 14 to 16 at Volkswagen Group of America's U.S. headquarters in Herndon, Va., and near the corporate headquarters. In attendance were more than 90 fleet managers and suppliers, who had an opportunity to test drive 23 VW and 18 Audi models.

The fleet preview kicked off with an evening networking reception and dinner at the TopGolf entertainment complex. The following morning there were detailed walkaround presentations of the 2017 VW Golf Alltrack and the 2017 Audi A4 2.0T Ultra.

This was followed by a moderated conversation with VW North America CEO Hinrich Woebcken and AF Editor Mike Antich that focused on VW’s forthcoming expansion of its SUV lineup, opportunities in the commercial van segment, and the upcoming Audi dedicated all-electric SUV.  The fleet preview concluded with a 180-mile ride-and-drive in VW and Audi models engaged in a scavenger hunt through Northern Virginia.
