The City of Orlando, Fla., is hiring a fleet manager. The fleet manager is responsible supervisory and administrative work directing the repair, maintenance, and operation of motor vehicles, heavy equipment, or tools.

The Orlando fleet consists of more than more than 3,000 vehicles and heavy construction equipment including police, fire, sanitation, and street maintenance vehicles as well as a large administrative vehicle fleet.  The fleet manager reports directly to the fleet & facilities management division manager.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in fleet maintenance management. A Certified Public Fleet Professional (CPFP) designation is preferred.
