Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker’s administration has stripped 30 vehicles of their blue emergency lights after they were deemed unnecessary, the Boston Herald reported.

A state audit identified these vehicles, and auditors said employees did not need lights to do their jobs. Not counting the state police fleet, there are now 474 vehicles with lights, down from 504.

Last year, the state announced it would cut its take-home fleet following employee misuse of a state vehicle.
