William Forsythe, CAFM, was named fleet manager at North Carolina Department of Administration in Raleigh, N.C. He assumed this position in October.
In his new position, Forsythe will preside over a fleet of 7,300 vehicles that encompasses purchasing, assigning, providing maintenance, and remarketing of vehicles at the end of their lifecycle. He oversees a staff of 21 direct reports that are responsible for providing safe and efficient management of state-owned passenger motor vehicles via a centralized source of passenger transportation for all state agencies in the most cost-effective way.
Prior to this, Forsythe was global procurement, fleet and safety management at ADP in Roseland, N.J., a position he held from June 2004 to October.
