The savings metrics reported by RTA stem from a time and cost analysis conducted from 2017 to 2024 across its entire customer base. The study evaluated operational improvements enabled by RTA, such as paperless workflows, automated maintenance processes and optimized parts and fuel management. Using time studies and wage data, RTA quantified real-world efficiencies, including labor hour reductions and cost savings, to determine the financial and productivity impact.

The client savings measured by the use of RTA’s software are rooted in four areas:

  • Shop Management (64%) – Primarily driven by paperless operations.

  • Parts Management (18%) – Efficient inventory tracking and usage.

  • Warranty Management (12%) – Maximizing warranty recovery opportunities.

  • Fuel Management (6%) – Enhanced tracking and cost control.

Across all industries, RTA reported its software and consulting services deliver an average savings of $90,000 per customer annually from the efficiencies gained. The company reported that government fleets saved an average of $92,000 per customer or $137.41 per asset as well as 3,787 hours saved, and 12,000 sheets of paper saved.
