GM has promoted former OnStar fleet account executive Michell G. Lander to the role of OnStar Government Fleet account executive. Michell will be responsible for cultivating relationships and facilitating the sale of OnStar Business Solutions services to new and existing GM Envolve customers in the government (U.S., federal, state, local), municipal, and broader public sector space.
GM stated that, in this role, "Lander will help ensure our GM Envolve customers are protected, connected and informed, as OnStar Business Solutions streamlines fleet management operations through four distinct product offerings — OnStar Safety Services, OnStar Vehicle Insights, API and Data Services, and available in-vehicle Wi-Fi."
Michell joined GM in 2014 as a connected customer specialist in New Jersey and in 2016 she was promoted to lead connected customer specialist for the Northeast Region. Michell went on to complete the GM District Manager Development program in 2017 before transitioning back to OnStar as an OnStar fleet account executive. In 2021, Michell assumed the lead OnStar fleet account executive role, as well as supporting the GM Fleet team in the Southeast region.
