It's no secret that the supply chain crisis has had an impact on public fleets — especially law enforcement fleets. How do you navigate the crisis, and what are some practical solutions common procurement problems? And once you get the vehicles, then comes the need to upfit the vehicles. Should you do the work in-house or outsource it? At the 2023 Police Fleet Conference (PFC), learn from fellow public fleet professionals on both of these key topics.
In Police Vehicle Procurement Problems and Solutions, David Renschler, CPFP, of Fairfield, California, shares advice on dealing with procurement troubles. Plus, representatives from Ford, GM, and Stellantis join the conversation to share ways they are addressing the supply chain crisis, as well as what they have coming down the pipeline.
Then, in Fit to Serve: Law Enforcement Vehicle Upfitting, Sgt. Jason Brake of the City and County of Denver, Jennifer Brown of Coconino County, Arizona, and Nate Herskovits of Elite Vehicle Solutions share insights, as well as solutions to common problems in vehicle upfitting.
New in 2023, PFC runs concurrent to the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX). Attendees have a chance to address issues specific to law enforcement fleets, as well as learn solutions for common issues. GFX is being held May 22-25 in Dallas.
Attendees can register on the GFX website.
