Agencies that assisted during the city's time without its own ambulance service included Twin City Ambulance Corporation, Mercy Flight, South Lockport Fire Co., Wrights Corners Fire Company, Wendelville Fire Company, Rapids Volunteer Fire Company, and Cambria Fire Department.

According to WKBW, there were about 450 requests for an ambulance in Lockport since August 2022.

"Your city of Lockport firefighters and it’s officers have worked hard to restore this service to better serve our community," the department wrote on their Facebook page. "These ambulances will allow us to deliver high quality advanced life support to our city and surrounding communities."
