On Dec. 8, the Miami Police Department debuted their newest fleet vehicle.

“We will be unveiling our most technologically advanced community policing vehicles within our fleet. Unlike other advancements contained by most of our crime prevention vehicles, this one will be equipped with sweet treats for the youths of Miami,” the department stated in a press release.

The vehicle will be driven throughout the various neighborhoods of the City of Miami by officers assigned to the Community Relations Section. Officers will distribute free ice cream to children in the area. The ice cream truck will also be used at several Miami Police community events, and is sponsored by the ITS4THEKIDS Foundation and Eventstar Structures.
