New York City Adds Electric Vehicles to Fleet

At an event on Tuesday, July 12, in Woodside Queens, New York, New York City's Mayor Michael Bloomberg, along with a range of City department heads, announced the addition of 70 electric vehicles to the City's fleet. The new vehicles include Chevrolet Volts for the NYPD, 10 Ford Transit Connect Electric vans, and 10 Navistar eStar vehicles.
