ThermoCall/SmarTemp Heater Control App
Webasto released the latest ThermoCall and SmarTemp Control 2.0 systems that allow drivers to have more control over in-truck temperature.

Webasto released the latest ThermoCall and SmarTemp Control 2.0 systems that allow drivers greater control over in-truck temperature.
ThermoCall allows drivers to preheat their engine from a mobile phone and is compatible with Webasto coolant heaters. It can control on/off functions and allows a user to program the heater start time up to 24 hours in advance. The app includes a seven-day reminder.
ThermoCall stores up to five authorized phone numbers and can operate up to two heaters and two trucks. The ThermoCall kit comes with a receiver, GMS antenna and wiring harness. Once installed, a SIM card with a unique phone number and active connection is added. Users then download the ThermoCall app to a smartphone and control the heater via text message or phone call. ThermoCall will be available in May.
SmarTemp Control 2.0 is the next version of the heater controller with new features including programmable heater start time. Users will be able to manually set the timer so the heater will turn on at a particular time of day and comes with duration options of 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes.
The controller still works as a temperature management system with a dial to set and adjust temperature settings. The large LCD screen displays the temperature and allows a one-click-to-one-degree ratio for simple adjustments.
