Bosch's line of SmartCharge Battery Chargers/Maintainers features high-quality, ergonomically shaped chargers with self-monitoring functions to ensure a long battery life while delivering spark protection, overheating protection, reverse polarity protection, and overcharging protection. Chargers will automatically switch between trickle and pulse modes, adjusting the charging algorithm according to the state of the battery.
The SmartCharge line of products cover applications including passenger vehicles, classic cars, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, snowmobiles, and delivery vehicles:
SmartCharge, with two charging modes, a 12-volt output, maximum charging speed of 3.5 amps, and an LED charging indicator.
SmartCharge Plus, with four charging modes, a 6- or 12-volt output, maximum charging speed of 3.8 amps, and a digital display indicating voltage of battery during charging.
SmartCharge Pro, with six charging modes, a 12- or 24-volt output, maximum charging speed of 7 amps, and digital display indicating voltage of battery during charging. It is also compatible with a wide range of applications, including medium- and heavy-duty trucks Class 4 and above.
