Reading's Redi-Gate tailgate provides concealed storage space for frequently used items, and is designed to be integrated with the Classic II service body.
Redi-Gate is available in heavy-duty weight-saving aluminum with an increased depth of 4 inches that doesn't interrupt the load space of the body. Users can move smaller tools and accessories from side compartments without hindering performance time, according to the company.
Redi-Gate increases storage volume to more than 1.1 cubic feet with a compartment size of 44 inches wide, 11 inches tall, and 4 inches deep.
It's available in the standard EX (extra space) model or the EXP (extra space and power) model that includes four integrated weather-resistant power outlets on a rear mounting bracket. The Redi-Gate lays flush with the cargo space for snag-free loading.
Redi-Gate was introduced at the 2016 Work Truck Show.
