Larson Electronics has released a lightweight, magnetic steel mounting plate for 2017 and newer Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty aluminum body pickup trucks with LED brake lights.
The MMP-FSD-2017-LED is a no-drill mounting plate ideal for lights with a magnetic mounting base. The Golight mounting plate can support lights weighing up to 20 pounds. The frame and brackets are constructed of durable aluminum and the mounting plate surface is made of steel with powder coating for added durability. It has a weatherproof seal on the back for secure dry installation and protection against scrapes to the truck body. The mounting plate is installed through the rear cab lights and features a windload that is fine for highway speeds.
The mounting plate can be used for a variety of magnetic mount lights, including strobes, beacons, spotlights, and warning lights.
