Reading Truck Body, LLC is expanding its aluminum Classic Service Van (CSV) line, with the all-new Ram ProMaster cutaway chassis.
The ProMaster, upfitted with the Reading CSV will offer enhanced ergonomics, storage, and pass-thru access from the cab to the load space.
Additionally, 57- and 75-inch bodies will be offered, with plans to expand to other configurations as the chassis line expands. The all-aluminum welded construction for the Ram ProMaster offers a solution that is up to 50-percent lighter than steel, enhances payload capacity, and can save up to 10 percent in fuel costs, accoding to Reading.
The new Ram ProMaster configured CSV will offer additional features including patented hidden hinges, galvanized shelving, LED lighting, nitrogen strut door holders, secure rear and compartment doors, and stainless steel locks. Available options will also include Latchmatic and Latchmatic Smartshield keyless
locking systems, as well as a three-bow ladder rack.
