The Aware integrates with a truck's speaker system and routes messages from a telematics alert system through the cab speakers. Utilizing a wireless connection and simple plug-and-play installation, the product also allows for an optional wireless connection to a cellular phone for hands-free use.

The system allows users to hear messages over the telematics system safely and easily, without having to turn the radio down or take your hands off the wheel. Sound goes through the truck’s speakers, broadcasting messages clearly, as opposed to coming through the small speakers of the telematics system tablet.

It functions independently of the radio, so the sound being broadcast from the telematics system goes through speakers even if the radio is off. Audio messages take priority over any other audio sources, and uses an audio distribution profile that allows it to transmit a high-quality media audio signal.
