ANDERSON, SC – Anderson County Sheriff David Crenshaw has been allegedly driving for 14 months on an expired driver’s license. And he allegedly said he flunked the driving test the first time he tried to get his license back, according to the Web site www.Greenvilleonline.com.
Crenshaw calls it a mistake. He thought he had a 10-year license instead of a five-year license. Apparently, the DMV quit sending out renewal notices, according to www.greenvilleonline.com. It had been so long since Crenshaw had a valid license that he had to take the driving test to get it back. He flunked on his first try. Crenshaw said he was never pulled over while his license was expired and never had a reason to check it.
