SALT LAKE CITY - Margaret Chambers, director of Fleet Operations and Surplus Services in Salt Lake City, Utah, has been left tragically paralyzed from the waist down after being hit by a wave while on vacation in Hawaii.
Due to her injuries and unstable condition, Chambers is unable to fly on a commercial airplane. To return to Salt Lake, she must fly via Air Med - an enormous expense not covered by her insurance.
Friends and loved ones have created a Web site (www.margaretchambers.org) to raise funds to bring her back home so she can get the proper care needed for recovery.
Donations may be made online at www.margaretchambers.org or dropped off at any Wells Fargo branch. The account number is under "Sunlight Manifestations" #8200-191-693.
