Brown County, S.D., will develop a plan to use a 30% ethanol blend — E-30 — in its fleet vehicles. The move would help drive the local agriculture economy and reduce costs, the Watertown Public Opinion reported.
According to the fuel provider, data from vehicles using the fuel for two years showed the same or increased fuel economy and an average savings of $3 to $5 per tank of fuel.
