SEARCHPUGET SOUND, WA - Puget Sound Clean Cities Coalition is looking for projects to submit to Washington State's Department of Ecology, which is providing the grant funding.
PUGET SOUND, WA – The Puget Sound Clean Cities Coalition and the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency are looking for projects and partners to apply for the available $7 million Clean Diesel Grant Funds from the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology).
The Coalition stated it’s looking to sponsor projects that reduce harmful diesel pollution, especially in areas with diesel pollution. The group stated it is also interested in projects that improve energy efficiency and reduce petroleum use.
Applications are due by August 31. The group said it will notify projects it plans to submit to the Department of Ecology by September 16, 2011. In addition, the group stated it will keep all proposals on file for grant opportunities that come up within the next six months.
