Three public fleet industry veterans were honored at the 2022 Government Fleet Expo & Conference in Detroit. The newest members of the Public Fleet Hall of Fame were recognized at the Honors Celebration on Monday evening.
The Public Fleet Hall of Fame is comprised of industry leaders and pioneers who have significantly contributed to the public fleet profession, as chosen by members of the industry via online voting. The award is sponsored by Sourcewell.
This year's inductees are:
Pete Bednar, fleet management director, City of Albany, Georgia
Years in fleet: 42Keith Kerman, chief fleet officer, deputy commissioner for the department of citywide administrative services (DCAS), City of New York
Years in fleet: 27Gary McLean, CPFP, fleet manager, City of Lakeland, Florida
Years in fleet: 40
