Pennsylvania State Senator Timothy Solobay has introduced a resolution, SR38, in the Pennsylvania Senate to direct the State’s Department of General Services to conduct a study to determine the costs and feasibility of converting the State’s fleet to operate on compressed natural gas and liquefied natural gas.
The Senator originally introduced a similar resolution, SR166, in 2011 and 2012. It stated that converting the State’s fleet to operate on natural gas would encourage broader use of the fuel, including changes to infrastructure.
