Ohio County to Build $720K Equipment Storage Building
Fairfield County (Ohio) Commissioners recently opened sealed bids for the construction of a new equipment storage building. The building will house county vehicles, equipment, and other assets.

Fairfield County (Ohio) Commissioners recently opened sealed bids for the construction of a new equipment storage building and some associated site work. The winning bid was for $625,000 and the project is expected to cost no more than $720,000 with contingencies.
Construction will begin as soon as possible with completion expected by Feb. 28, 2018. The equipment storage building will house county vehicles, equipment, and other assets belonging to the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and Major Crimes Investigations Unit (MCU), including the EMA command vehicle and other vehicles.
This building is phase one of construction at the county-owned site. Phase 2 will include office space for the EMA, MCU, Coroner’s Office, and Facilities Management.
