No Change in County Vehicle Policy Despite Employee DUI Arrest
ROCKVILLE, MD - Despite the March arrest of a county employee drunk driving in a county-owned vehicle, Montgomery County's driving policy has not yet been changed.
ROCKVILLE, MD - Montgomery County has not yet made any changes to its policy on county employee driving privileges, despite one of its employees being arrested four months ago for drunk driving in a county-owned vehicle.
Cynthia Harrison, the Department of Economic Development employee reportedly arrested for DUI in March, was required to have an interlock device installed in her personal vehicle, occurred amid other alcohol-related incidents involving county employees driving county-owned vehicles. However, the Washington Examiner reports no change has been made since department heads first met July 27. A report is expected to be issued in September, reported the Examiner.
Harrison continues to work for the county, according to the Examiner.
