NCSFA Awards Distinguished Member & Environmental Leader
The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA) awarded Ken Miller, fleet manager with the State of Illinois, with the Environmental Leadership Award and Kathi Croze, national sales manager for the Government Fleet Market for The CEI Group, with its Distinguished Member Award.

Croze
The National Conference of State Fleet Administrators (NCSFA), an organization representing public sector fleet managers from states, universities, departments of transportation, and a number of municipalities, presented awards to two members of its community for fleet excellence. The NCSFA recognized these individuals at the group’s annual conference and business meeting in Atlantic City, N.J.

Miller
The NCSFA awarded Ken Miller, fleet manager for the State of Illinois, with the 2013 Environmental Leadership Award. Miller helps manage a fleet that is consists of 61% alternative-fuel or hybrid vehicles (including biodiesel and E-85-capable vehicles). In keeping with Governor Pat Quinn’s executive order to reduce petroleum fuel consumption, the State has reduced petroleum-fuel use by more than 725,000 gallons in fiscal-year 2012 over fiscal-year 2011. The State also recently purchased 15 electric vehicles and 33 electric vehicle charging stations.

Croze
Long-time member and former corporate liaison to NCSFA, Kathi Croze with The CEI Group, Inc., received the 2013 NCSFA Annual Distinguished Member Award. The award recognizes the member exemplifying exceptional leadership skills in fleet management among their peers.
Croze is the national sales manager for the Government Fleet Market for The CEI Group, Inc., a service solutions provider for vehicle collision management and driver safety services. She joined CEI in 1991 and eventually moved from the corporate market to the government market as her primary area of responsibility. Croze has 35 years in the fleet industry and has been involved with various fleet organizations including the NAFA Fleet Management Association, where she has held many local and national positions, including Chapter Chair. She was named the organization’s first female Affiliate Trustee in 2003. She is credited with the successful development of the Corporate Liaison role within NCSFA. Croze also has been named one of the top women in the fleet industry by Automotive Fleet magazine. She served as the corporate liaison for NCSFA from 2007-2011.
