WARRENVILLE, IL – Eligible fleets wanting to make environmentally responsible changes to their vehicles can now apply for government grants to offset the costs of retrofitting their existing trucks. "Our International dealers are ready to help customers improve their truck's emissions by capitalizing on available government incentive programs," said Roger Kuchar, business development manager, green diesel technology for Navistar Parts. "Millions of dollars are available and it's a smart way to reduce a vehicle's carbon footprint without breaking the bank."
Parts that may qualify for these government programs include:
• Anti-Idle Technologies.
Battery Powered Heating and Air Conditioning Systems.
Fuel Operated Heaters.
Thermal Storage Systems.
• Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC).
• Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).
• Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV).
