YERINGTON, NV - Lyon County, Nev., hired Tim Ogle as fleet superintendent for a new Fleet Division under Public Works. Recent department restructuring led to the creation of the new division, previously under Roads. Public Works is a new department composed of what were originally Roads and Utilities departments. Ogle was previously the Utilities Department fleet supervisor.
The position was an internal posting, with two applicants.
Ogle has 13 years of experience with Lyon County, all in fleet-related positions, according to Mike Workman, Public Works director. He is responsible for 500 units, four facilities, and five staff members. He began his position Sept. 3.
"Tim is very passionate about his job. He is forward-thinking, very service oriented, and has a strong 'can do' attitude. Leading the evolution of the Fleet Division is right up Tim's alley," Workman said.
