FORT MYERS, FL - Lee County fleet management is currently beta testing an online appointment scheduler. The scheduler will allow other departments' fleet liaisons to schedule preventive maintenance (PM) services for County equipment online using their email log-in, according to Lee County fleet management.
When published, this will be viewable by everyone by logging onto the link, although only fleet liaisons will be able to make appointments. Fleet is also working on a live status link that will allow supervisors and operators to check the live status of their vehicle or equipment from their computer any time of day or night.
Along with the scheduler and status report will be a link to the current PM report, updated each month. The link to this report will continue to be sent out each month to each department's fleet liaison as a reminder. This will be viewable to all who have access to the intranet and is available by password to those who do not. Fleet management's goal is to provide usable information in a convenient and easy-to-use format.
