KANSAS CITY, MO - Kansas City’s Water Services Department has received the fourth reimbursement from an $880,000 grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation for compressed natural gas conversions to its vehicles, according to the Web site, www.kansascity.com.
Natural gas is domestic and is a cleaner fuel than gasoline. Until recently, it was also cheaper than gasoline, selling at a price that equates to about $1.98 per gallon.
