Greenville Renews Lease on Fleet of BMW Police Motorcycles
The City extended its original three-year contract through August 2013, after which the City will own the vehicles.
Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. announced the City of Greenville, N.C. renewed its leases on its fleet of BMW police motorcycles through Sparta’s Municipal Lease Program. The City extended its original three-year contract through August 2013, after which the City will own the vehicles.
"Our experience with Sparta's municipal program has been excellent,” said Greenville’s police captain Rob Williams. “They've shown us here in Greenville not just a way to lower our annual budgeting for our motorcycles, but also a way to own the vehicles at the end of the renewed lease. We couldn't be more appreciative of Sparta's support."
Sparta’s Municipal Lease Program allows municipalities to lease and eventually own vehicles.
